EARTH WEEK Preseason Event Sat., April 25, 10 am - Noon
Join us to get the scoop on our 2026 Season, over 70 programs and special events scheduled, and new and returning great vendors! Plus celebrate Earth Week by picking up a free pine seedling and planting it. Visit our free seed library, check out the great starter plants, herbs, flowers, greens, artisan breads, fresh eggs, rabbit, soups, spices, syrup, honey and MORE! — Event in partnership with Mason-Lake Conservation District tree sale. Get to the Markette!
Parking
There is plenty of parking in the lots north and south of the Pure Markette with easy access off Seventh or Eighth Street in downtown Baldwin. Parking also is available along M-37/Michigan Avenue with a paved walkway to the Markette between Jone’s Homemade Ice Cream and the Baldwin Business Center.
Biking/Hiking
We love our trails! The Pere Markette State Trail is ¼ mile north of the Markette and runs east to Idlewild and Reed City.
